Frank Welsh
After graduating from Magdalene College, Cambridge, Frank Welsh pursued a varied career in international business and banking that included fifteen years as Director of Grindlay’s Bank (1971-85).
He also served on the boards of nationalised industries and as a member of the Royal Commission on the National Health Service.
He is the author of some fourteen books – acclaimed histories of British colonies, investigative insights to the worlds of finance and public enterprise, memoirs, and short stories.
